Citizens Rally Against Proposed Subdivision
Background: When Davies entered the fight over development of 650-acres known for its pristine beauty, the issue had been defined as "Save-or-Pave" by no fewer than four groups organized to fight our client's proposal. The area was littered with thousand of lawn signs voicing opposition.
Action: To win, Davies redefined the battle lines and destabilized the opposition by highlighting the fact that their efforts at blocking the development could actually lead to more homes and even less open space.
Result: Davies identified and deployed an army of 3,100 supporters to overwhelm public hearings, eventually obtaining unanimous approvals and successfully positioning the project to win a subsequent voter referendum.
